Throughout this Community of Practice, the group will...
- Feel more rooted in a community and network of folks organizing against COVID denialism.
- Develop groups to be more resourced to share organizing and support practices with others
- Troubleshoot common issues related to organizing against COVID denialism
This Circle is ideal for:
- People that participated in the COVID denialism clinics
- Folks from the PS4 convening
The expectation is that you're actively practicing something whether you identify as an organizer or not
This community of practice will include strategizing to redistribute power. Since people of the global majority have been and continue to be disproportionately impacted by COVID denialism, we aim to uplift and center the global majority’s needs. Redistributing power requires active participation by people of the global majority; it also requires active participation by white folks who recognize the greater visibility given to white-led/dominated COVID advocacy organizing efforts. This offering is open to all those who wish to work actively against these realities and there will be affinity spaces to do so.

At PeoplesHub we are committed to communication access, radical hospitality, supporting facilitators, and making our offerings financially accessible. Donations allow us to continue offering programs like this one and pay speakers, tech support leads, interpreters, captioners, and other support staff a fair wage for their time and expertise. Like you, those who support our trainings work hard for change in their communities and have often developed the knowledge, skill and gifts that they are offering through many unpaid hours — let’s support them to be sustainable in their work and craft!
