Part of how we get free is by attending to the ways that systems of domination operate within us and within our organizations. When we don’t, we risk replicating the very things we are working to transform! This can be demoralizing, dangerous, and even deadly.
As we commit to addressing the harm created by systemic oppression, including the ways we and our communities are both harmed by and benefit from dominance, privilege, and oppression, we move into deeper alignment with our core values and the world we are struggling to build.
This workshop will support those who wish to bring both rigor and love to applying the Solidarity Economy Principles and Practices (solidarityeconomyprinciples.org) to their work, whether that’s on a local, national, or global level. Whether you’re in a cooperative, a nonprofit, a community garden, or some other kind of organization, the community-sourced wisdom will support your journey.

This program is ideal for people who have some understanding of solidarity economy movements and are organizing within groups who have a commitment to anti-oppression/collective liberation. It is a non-judgemental space, so you are welcome regardless where your group is on its journey.

Accessibility:
Access requests, including interpretation and captioners, can be made during registration or by emailing our Director of Disability Justice and Language Access. Requests for interpreters and captioners that are made less than 48 hours before the event typically are more difficult to meet. We will try and notify you if we cannot secure requested access.
