Combating ableism and conflict avoidance with Interdependence and Sacred Responsibility frameworks (Mbongi, Ubuntu, Egbé)

There have been calls to align indigenous spiritual practices with movement work. These offerings explore emotional emancipation as cultivation of sacred grief & rage, encouraging deeper discussion about privileges and identities. Within this workshop, we will locate and expand upon Indigenous African practices that survived slavery and colonization. Through doing this we’ll look into identifying roles & capacity from ancestral legacies. This workshop is open to PGM - people of the global majority.
